Innovative business leader Brooklyn Earick has dismissed submitting an official acquisition offer for Spurs.
The club had earlier “unequivocally rejected” an preliminary inquiry from a consortium headed by Earick last period and insisted the organization was off the market.
However British acquisition regulations required that, having had an informal proposal declined, the interested parties had to submit a bid by 24 October or declare they would refrain.
Verification of the determination was provided in a announcement made by the club to the stock exchange, confirming the club is “no longer in an acquisition window.”
He shared an image of the announcement on digital channels, adding: “It was a honor engaging with Spurs and the owners' delegates over the past few weeks.
“I hold high regard for the organization, its executives, and its supporters, and hope for nothing but success.”
Tottenham's directors thanked the consortium for its “positive engagement” in talks and for “respecting the clear position” of the shareholders that the team is not for sale.
The entrepreneur is a one-time music presenter who also served in space technology for NASA before founding the innovation company, which specializes in technology, media, sports and entertainment.
Earick's proposal was the third inquiry turned down by the team's directors since the unexpected exit of executive chairman Daniel Levy in last month.
On 8 September, the team rejected approaches from ex-Newcastle investor Staveley's PCP International and a group led by Dr Roger Kennedy and Wing-Fai Ng through Firehawk Holdings.
The former chairman and his relatives control about a significant stake of Enic Sports & Developments Holdings Ltd – which has an almost 87% stake in the club.
He was the English top flight's longest-serving chairman and is believed to have earned over £50 million during his long tenure in the capacity.
Yet he was also the target of ongoing dissent by Tottenham supporters, particularly last campaign as domestic league results proved disappointing.
Tottenham won their major honor in seventeen years when they beat Manchester United in the May continental decider.
